Nike apologised to Muslims for the design of their shoes that resembled the Arabic script for Allah. In the British Independent's article, the passage was quoted as "no God Mohammad is his prophet". In fact, the verse from the Qur'an reads, "no God but Allah, Mohammed is his prophet". In reporting the Nike incident, the Independent added insult to injury.
